It is one of Dürer's most beautiful and recognized works, made between 1509 y 1511. 

36 engravings, accompanied by the woodcutting from cover page entitled «Vir dolorum», which represents the suffering Christ. It also includes a additional unpublished engraving, a different version of the Prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, since the copy on which we have based this facsimile comes from a distinguished private collection.
